The new prices means that for myself and my 17 year old, it works out about £25 per game (terrace) which, on reflection, I don’t think is too bad. So what sort of price per game should a season ticket relate to for kids? U10 £5 U16 £7.50 U21 £10 last year it was £22.60, so just over a 10% increase I thought the issue was the removal of the U11 price band, so the price for a 17 yr old is not really relevant, as they still fall under the U21 price band? Plus there's no family tickets.

Would need to remember to check nearer to summer, but would say those u 14s (basically kids) ST prices are more expensive than what some PL clubs will be charging

The TV deal gives them all they need.

Having no family incentive/discount is frankly absurd given the economic crisis we are all facing. Surely the direct debit option isn’t gone too?? Seems utter madness and zero business strategy. Interesting comparison to Shrewsbury releasing their season ticket information today…FREE for under 7’s with a paying adult and £15 for under 13’s. Personally I think that’s too cheap but we are miles wide of the mark. I guess the owner’s dont care but it will back fire imo.

My current way of thinking is the club have lost my season ticket and my child’s. Was looking forward to next season as I thought *we* as a club were going to try and grow the fan base. Looks like now we’re gonna try and rinse those that are left. I can afford it but don’t like feeling ripped off and thinking of others.

The TV deal gives them all they need. The difference between the old and new TV deal would more than cover all gate receipts. Here's a thought Former Bayern Club President, Uli Hoeness on the clubs season ticket prices. “We could charge more than £104. Let's say we charged £300. We'd get £2m more in income, but what's £2m to us?” “In a transfer discussion you argue about that sum for five minutes. But the difference between £104 and £300 is huge for the fan. We do not think the fans are like cows, who you milk.” “Football has got to be for everybody. That's the biggest difference between us and England.”

But via a child’s season ticket what would be a reasonable equivalent price per game be?

To try and put it into perspective the owners and Wael pay what £3-4 million for us to survive each year.
The fanbase want the club to spend more on the scouting network, development of young players, sign better players and improve facilities.
Where do they expect the money to come from?
What about all in it together philosophy?
If the owners spend another million on top of the 3-4 mill next season, should we not also pay another £50 quid each?
The players (and their leeching agents) are on far too much money. It's not the days of Ragbag Rovers and Reecey taking a £5 a week pay cut when leaving a tyre factory to join us to take a gamble to live the dream.
Some posters want us to sign Vale. I'm sure I read on here he is on £20k plus a week. That is probably bull from an ITKer but I doubt he would sign for anything less than £2k a week that's over £100k a year. What about junior Drs?
Football players wages (and agents fees) are obscene even at this level. It may be a short career, but how many people over 50 reading this have stayed in the same profession since leaving school? Not that many I guess.

Nah grab what we can now The problem with doing it for free, is lots get them, even if their child doesn't like football and then it takes up a space still, when they decide not to go the majority of the time. Although,I have seen other clubs say if they don't turn up, or sell their ticket on the exchange over 3 times, then they will lose their ticket. Or something along those lines. Hopefully the club will have a rethink, we need to have children tickets.

Not that many I guess. Who’s going to pay the extra £50 in a decade or two if we don’t get kids in. No issues with the adult prices but an increase of £119 for an under 14 tickets is a complete water take. The total revenue from the extra charges will be a drop in the ocean on the overall loss the club makes. A very strange business decision to target kids season tickets to recover probably less than 100k of the losses, especially when you consider the long term impacts.

Agree with most of the above RE Kids tickets/Family saver tickets. My 6 year old was showing more interest in the Rovers lately so was planning on a seat in the South Stand for me and him. My old man was going to move from the West Stand seating to join us (as we can't get seats together in there). But £1007 for us all? Most likely have a few games switched to mid week as well which is too late for the boy, makes picking a choosing games a better option for us.
Totally understand price increases but a real shame to price out kids. As someone mentioned above, trying to make a kid stand for the 90 minutes is hard enough, let alone having to get in the ground almost an hour early to get a space where they can actually see the pitch. So a family ticket price in the new South Stand would be great, selfishly.
Anyway, maybe next year. UTG!

Start looking at the teams potentially we could be playing next season and there are not a lot of big away followings take up the demand

If the kids prices were that but came with a shirt or some other bonus incentive I think it would soften the blow somewhat.
The increase with no options to finance is an absolute joke.

I wonder if anyone at the club will be reading these pages? Will there be a realisation they’ve made a massive mistake and misread the fanbase? They don't give a flying f**k about the fan base they don't give a flying f**k about children in their own country they don't give a flying f**k about females in their own country Why bother here ? I think I missed that interview

Any terrace ST holders managed to renew and upgrade to the South Stand? When I log in to eticketing I haven't got an invitation to renew. Still feeling 2nd class after Norwich.
