Not surprising in their case facing multimillion pound players.
Having said that Luton causing them all sorts of problems since going two nil down. The ref just bottled it, Casemiro should have got a second yellow.

I’m sure nearly every Gashead on here will forever be grateful for Tom’s brilliant service and 100% commitment when wearing the quarters. One of the best defenders and leaders we’ve had in the last 25 years and has gone on to prove himself elsewhere and at the highest level.
Unless his cardiologist says there is virtually no risk to playing I’d like to see him retire, he’ll make a good coach or pundit if he needs a second career.

I was just listening to 5 Live this morning and heard an excerpt of Tom from last night’s “the Monday Night Club” show. It’s a whopping two hours long and I’ve no idea how prominently he features but if you’ve got the stamina here’s the link:

A shining example to all young players who get rejected after many years coming up through the ranks, if you believe in your self and your ability don't give up! Tom was convinced that despite him being released at a young age he had what it takes to get to the top. A few set backs on the way, even with Rovers some did not appreciate his contribution, thankfully those who mattered did. For me Tom was exactly what you want from a defender, and i use the word defender in the truest sense, his job was to 'stop' and 'destroy' which he was exceptionally good at, yes he frustrated at times with his distribution but even that got better as he rose through the football pyramid, goodness we miss his like at the back now, good luck Tom, different priorities now and I think he realises that , would imagine he would make a brilliant defensive coach and be a great role model for young players on and off field, would be good to have him up the Mem sometime soon, over to the club!

What I don't get is why did Lockyer have a recording device put in May but not a device that would kick in when his heart stopped? My gut feeling is he has gone through private health care and they didn't provide this in May to save money. I could be completely wrong though. I would love to hear from a medical profession their thoughts on this on here?

Yes but why now and not in May, Pirate? Why did they just put a recording device in back then?

Atrial Fibrillation is associated with a sudden cardiac arrest though. I think they are connected.
