Last time I felt less enthused by a manager (other than charlatan Tisdale) was Atkins. Hope that changes and soon.

Anyone remember the 0-1 v Carlisle at Eastville on 19/12/1981? That was so dire even I left early. Hopefully today will be better. I certainly do it was one of the few matches played that day after heavy overnight snow across much of the country, and yes it was a dismal performance. Yep, I was there. Unfortunately I was only 14 and unable to bet. If I had been, I would have bet on Bob Lee, who had been atrocious for us the previous season when we were relegated from Div 2, scoring for Carlisle. I’m sure I don’t need to go on…. |

This will probably be one of those horrible scrappy battling games our players hate.
The manager is well aware of our weaknesses, so let's see how the players we have available react and cope.
Time to step up lads! Let's not be bullied.
I'm hoping for a couple from CM and a 2-0 win

Another team we believe we should be beating. But we’ve had too many of those this season. I’d take a 1-0 win but wouldn’t be surprised if we draw or lose it.
Hopefully I will be wrong and we’ll finally produce a performance with a decent result.

If we are lucky Hunt and Wilson wont go AWOL in defence and we will be ok.
CM will need to score and ideally one or two others need to step up on the goal front.

Give my regards to Angkor Wat. They built that in the 12th century…..and look at our South Stand in the 21st century.😜 They could have learnt a lot from us if they had waited a while…..😄 Watched the sun rise over Angkor Wat it was fabulous. Have moved on now from Siem Reap to Battambang. Did that on 1/1/2002 still remember sitting at the top with a beer, toasting in the new year and the adventures ahead. |

Interestingly Taylor was already saying how Fragile we are in the pre match interview. I have zero confidence in him and some of this group at the moment. Defence should pick itself … Midfield is crucial again today. If he gets his starting eleven wrong again we will see 8 v 11 and a crap game. We must take the game to them today rather than pray for a clean sheet.with everyone behind the ball and slow build up. It’s a MUST win for the Club nothing else will do today. Fair point. The defence and midfield picked themselves last week as there were no other options. 🤣 |

Having looked at their starting 11 last week both diamond and Gibson , 2 of their starting front 3 would get into our 11 easily. So their other 9 players must be terrible😂
In all seriousness we should be going in for Gibson when they drop. Absolute baller.

Still undecided on whether I’ll go again this season , haven’t felt like this since the relegation out the football league. I know if I go , about twenty mins in when we’re one nil down I’ll be stood there thinking about my life choices 😂😂 You have to ask the question, if the players and club have written this season off then why should any fan get stick, if they do precisely the same. I hate losing and I hate giving up, so early. I think it’s only to be expected that we may not see crowds, as they were. |
