I can't see the 13 pitches being full size. Why would we need them? Kids don't go to 11v11 until under 13s Can't see why would ever need more than: 2x 5 a side 2x 7 a side 2x 9 a side 7 x 11 a side for reference , Manchester City's training ground has 10 full size pitches, some of which are marked for smaller side formats. Liverpool's has 12. I chair a football club for 400 kids, we have 3 full size, 3 9v9, 2 7v7 and 2 5v5 Flipping heck...the 13 pitches was a joke, said tongue in cheek and theres no way you would get 13 pitches, a dome, a complex clubhouse and a load of housing on 30 acres of land. Was it ? Sounded like he meant it to me but from my angle maybe I couldn’t see his tongue planted in his cheek like you could ! 😂

Just a thought. Has anyone seen the adverts for "The Nest" Norwich City's training facilities. They host tournaments for teams (mainly youngsters from across the world) with accommodation on site , lecture and conference facilities etc. Just wondered how much additional income that generates for Norwich City and whether it's something we could look at to make use of land and provide additional income.

Has to be partitioned & gated off i would have thought.🤔 Its alright, we've got a massive sheet. That'll do. I think the issue as mentioned before is that the first exit from the stand goes down to an area that can be gated off. However the 2nd (or maybe the 3rd, principle is the same) exit onwards goes down to the concourse past that gate and doesn't allow for segregation Been in the south stand the last two games and away fans are fenced off from the rest of the concourse.

That raises the question . Is the club intending to do additional work to address this ?. What is the update on the concourse?.Gonna put TV's up and bars in. There is only one set toip box, so everyone will be watching the same channel! (someone sell the clubs a bunch of these Firestick things that the young uns use) Knowing the club though, what is the definition of a bar? There is a cart that comes out at the front of the Clubhouse bar in summer. Knowing Rovers, the'll put that into the concourse and call it a bar! Personally I don’t go to Rovers to watch tv, let alone care whether there is more than one channel!

There should be an option to show multiple sports at once before and after the game to try and draw as much clientele in as possible.

Thanks to everybody for posting information. Doesn't sound too bad, although I think Cat 1 is a bit of a stretch target, and they may have to ping the elastic back a bit.

Anyway….. what were your thoughts in him Steve as a bloke , I remember you’ve been quite critical in the recent past ? I was quite impressed

This was a post meeting question I asked TG last night I had been asked by two people to pose. "Why is there no financing on season tickets available?" TG said - Most of the smaller clubs use the same finance company & they had pulled there support for all the smaller clubs but were still trading with the bigger clubs. This had caught the Rovers by surprise as it wasn't expected! He did'nt expect to be able to get anything in place in the short term! To offer finance you have to be FCA regulated. An outside company can be employed to do that for you but they may have to be some kind of corporate partner and be vetted by the EFL or they may have looked at the numbers from their end and decided it wasnt worth their while. It would be interesting to know how many bought on finance last year and what the finance companies kick back was from the club. Interstingly, Abulattif also said that there were numerous defaults on ST loans last season and as a result, the finance company weren't willing to do it.

I was quite impressed I thought he spoke very well, answered all the questions he had answers for and didnt attempt to BS his way around anything. I also thought he seems to have a plan, or at least he says he does, which is why I prempted my comment with "you seem to be saying all the right things" and then he evaded answering my question fully. Which is fair, he doesnt have to and he may not have had the full answer anyway. I did try to probe him a bit, but I didnt want to push my luck and come across like I was being a bit of a dick plus Lance asked for the mic back...!!

The thing that was also staggering was the admission last night of "The Fruit Market was nothing more than a concept, even if that mature!! This was quite a shocking revelation. So thank you Wael for the announcement in Blackpol way back in August 2019 and Mayor Marvin for telling us the Mayors office was right behind the scheme along of course with the expensive commissioned drone movie convincing us the new stadium was around the corner. Not forgetting of course the 1.2 million hits on this forum by all of us regarding the FM. We have all been mugged and duped ! Given how many pages over all those debating years were devoted to it, it was a shock. Abdullatif was scathing in his dismissal of the whole project. The developer "was never interested" in a Stadium, only flats and houses. My conclusion is that we were strung along by the developer, as BCC support for a stadium might have benefitted the developer in facilitating the project. The narrative of a new Stadium kept Rovers fans off Wael's back, who did not have the finance to make this a reality, even after selling Mem. Whatever you say about the new owners, their clear-headedness about the Mem maybe the best thing that has happened in years. The plans are at least realistic and have a time frame attached. There is no guarantee that we will succeed. But I don't think that they will bull***t us either along the way. Abdullatif seemed quite energised to have questions, because he wanted to convey "the devil in the detail". Spot on!

Yes some one did and MT's response was we think its best to get everyone behind the ball for now until we strengthen . Whether that means we have no pace up front to take the ball away and hold up ie Collins I'm not sure. MT was a CB and knows what he is doing but I still don't understand this. If you leave 1 player upfield the opposition have to leave 2 marking him. That's 2 less opposition players in our box. Plus having too many players in the box surely adds to the confusion which will only benefit the attacking team, and if we do miraculously clear it, it comes straight back as it did from Carlisle and ends up in the net. Its not like we defend them any better/worse with 10 or 11 in there, as Jaydon Stockley would testify, but at least it gives us an outlet with 1 free MT suggested he didn't want to change the set up mid season, which seems plausible but I assume he's changed other aspects of our play.

Makes you wonder what Wael was up to all this time as he mooched around pretending to the fans it was a goer. I know he's untouchable to some but I'm beginning to think serious questions need to asked about his track record. I realise he pumped in money. But he's got all that back now, as he probably intended to.
