As posted on another thread the game has already sold out for away fans, even though the game could yet get postponed because of international call ups. I’ve just gone on our website to see what the ticket situation is only to find that tickets are STILL on sale for the Burton and Carlisle games that have already been played but not the Reading game! Who is meant to be in charge of the website? Anyone? Embarrassing. www.bristolrovers.co.uk/tickets/home-tickets/

Yes, maybe they should have been removed but tickets are NOT on sale.

When will we know if this game is on or not? Is it usually just 8 days before ?

I can’t find anything conclusive. I wouldn’t normally worry about it but it’s one of my mates 60th and we’re planning a big day going to the game and enjoying Gloucester Rd. We are going to need a plan B if it’s not happening.

Said it before, this is bleddy ridiculously and is costing many many clubs in leagues 1 and 2 a fortune in lost revenue over an entire season as attendances are around about 20% lower for a midweek night fixture when compared to a Saturday fixture. No thought whatsoever given to the smaller clubs!

Perfect result personally, was missing this one due to England Vs Brazil & can make the rearranged date. Perfect 😄

No thought whatsoever given to the smaller clubs! Not sure you can blame the EFL as they are just following the FIFA international rules, the only people you can really blame are the clubs who are signing so many young international loan players rather than experienced pros.

This is so annoying. I’ve not managed to get to a home game this season (a variety of reasons, including being a lazy London lightweight these days ) but I had the diary lined up for this one. It is one of the many things I loathe about football today.
Evening kick offs do tend to limit the number of away fans, losing the home team money, but given Reading isn’t far so it shouldn’t be too bad this time.

Perfect 😄 ... and it might encourage a few more to swing by and watch the Gas Girls on the Sunday. April is hectic for Rovers now. Loads of home games and a local away day v Cheltenham (and one less local one away at Wigan)
