It was Sandell! I stand corrected Also forgot about the Lescott sending off, surely that wasn’t a straight red? “Said the man in the orthopaedic shoes”.

How quickly things can change.
This is the Bristol Rovers team that played in the Derby County away fixture on Saturday 25th November 2023.
33 * Matthew Cox 42 * Jack Hunt 04 * Josh Grant 05 * James Wilson 32 * George Friend * (Substituted by Luke Thomas at 73 minutes) 21 * Antony Evans 06 * Sam Finley 08 * Grant Ward * (Substituted by Jevani Brown at 74 minutes) 19 * Harvey Vale 18 * Chris Martin 10 * Aaron Collins * (Substituted by John Marquis at 81 minutes)
Might well be a totally different back five.
Probably only a handful of BRFC players will have started in both games.
Wonder if the same churn has occurred with the visitors?
Anyone know?

I would love to see us beat Derby. - absolutely detest the club (lived in Derbyshire working) but a draw at best i think. Just read they are bringing 1300 supporters with them tomorrow, South Stand Ultra should be interesting 😉

I’m Confident we’ll win this one. Derby won’t sit back they’ll have a go and so will we. Gas 2-1 or 3-1 .

Not surprised, but when popping on to their forum to see what they they are saying about tomorrow, there seems to be a large number of Derby fans saying they have bought tickets for the home ends as they sold out so quickly. If, true, I hope they keep their mouths shut and do not cause any problems.

Going by their arrogance when we were up there last I can’t see them being quiet at all.

Should be a good watch, they're not low block anti football, going for a 2 1 Gas win, goals by 2 ex Derby players Cold play and LT, UTG.

However even if they keep their voices low surely the smell will give them away.

Derby looked very average at their place earlier in the season in what was a very even game.
I predict 2-1 to the Gas.

I can remember watching Rovers at Stockport during the 1990s. I was in the home end due to a lack of away tickets. Rovers scored at which point it became apparent that there were lots of Rovers fans in the home end. There was no trouble so Rovers fans continued to be very vocal from the home end.
I can remember my grandfather telling me there used to be no segregation at Rovers matches and no trouble.

A hostile atmosphere will play in to our hands more than there’s. If they want to give it the big one in the thatchers end it won’t end well for well for them the thatchers end will be louder. f**k em. Bring it on.

This game is all marked up for us. Yeah they’re a top side in this division but we’ve got Matt Taylor as manager now he knows how to get this side drilled for these games . We’re in good hands. We’ll come away with at least a point tomorrow.
