Had to include “county” so it’s not a thread about the unlikely relegation of our near neighbours
Some encouraging injury news from our opponents

2 options for us. Keep things as are or go a little more defensive to allow Finley to start. WWYD?
Ward Hoole Taylor Baggott Gordon Thomas Evans Conteh Sinclair Martin Brown
Or
Ward Crama(or JC) Taylor Baggott Thomas Evans Finley Conteh Gordon Brown Martin

Chance hopefully for Luca although I do fear that high ball over his head letting the opposition in behind… seemed to be a regular thing when he played before.
Other than that … Will be great to see CT and EB as a partnership and I would keep Sammy on the bench with a view to second half introduction.
Very excited for this one … I think we can take them !

About 150 South Stand tickets remain.
Looking like a sell out.

Just want to win to wipe the smug look off their fans faces when we played at their place the last 2 seasons. Such an arrogant fan base which shouldn’t be there playing in L1 Hopefully they’ll miss out going up again this season

Don't get your hopes up.
LOST 7 and DRAWN 1 of last 9 meetings.
One memorable FA Cup win only. Up The Duke.
Only ONE HOME win against DCFC since 1959.
Time to set a new trend?

Such an arrogant fan base which shouldn’t be there playing in L1 Hopefully they’ll miss out going up again this season They’re getting to the squeaky bum time , in a five way shootout with Pompey, Bolton , Barnsley and Peterborough for an automatic promotion spot. They will be more nervous than us , so let’s have a real good go at them and F… up their season . Would be hilarious to see them bottle it again!

Don’t think we’ve ever beaten Rotherham or Derby while they were/are managed by Paul Warne.Decent chance ( no pressure on us) to put that right but will be difficult.1-1 I reckon.

Gordon seems to have done well the wrestle to the LB/LWB shirt back from Vale. Playing with 3 defenders also means having to drop Sinclair and he seemed to be involved in all our best attacking moves on Saturday and also won the free leading to our goal. I wonder if MT will be tempted to play LT at RB given how out of favour and form Hoole seems to be??

Battle of the Wards on Saturday.
Against Leyton Orient last weekend our J. WARD was a star performer.
His late instinctive saves were required to ensure the three points headed West.
With the enigmatic Dwight Gayle alert and fast-raiding for DCFC now Jed will need to be at his sharpest.
For DCFC, J. WARD was instrumental last Saturday in their best moves against Port Vale in the 3-0 win.
Formerly with Peterborough United, Joe Ward is now fit again and will probably play on the right flank.
We hope the in-form Lewis Gordon gets some help in defensive positions. He might appreciate it.
Will Jed or Joe be on the winning side?

Totally forgot Dwight Gayle was now a Derby player , always rated him ,and could pose a threat even at 34! Saying that if Derby are one of those teams that bring out our best, we can win it , I'm convinced. No win since Jan 2002 , and the Duke running riot , always remember the 3-2 game at Twerton in '91 , went both ways before they got a winner. High time we beat em!

Robbed of a second FA Cup win in 2007 promotion season, Durso inexplicably chalked off Carruthers header for a 1-0 lead. They were top of the championship at the time and flying, we throughly deserved to go through that day.

Now there’s a name for Gas top trumps! Will try and dig on the highlights in a bit, I remember seeing it back on the concourse at half time. Not a single one of us could see why it was disallowed, they nicked it ten mins from the end. Proper gut punch, all worked out come May though 😄

It was Sandell! I stand corrected
Also forgot about the Lescott sending off, surely that wasn’t a straight red?
