I just had to share this. Some will know that I have had my own challenges with living with cancer. Today, I am in good health and I am pleased about that. I’m sure we all know someone with cancer. Days where the ups and downs and the pain is difficult to cope with. This from Matt Forde is so understandable and sums up the importance of the emotion of football, camaraderie of a fan base. My family and my friends have been so supportive. This forum and the vast majority on here are like an extended family to so many including me. Thanks. Check out this thread about the power of football. Even when it’s hard. Just brilliant. x.com/mattforde/status/1765679040633991249?s=46&t=Z5PlFEQlY2JeHW1C16l1MQ

My Uncle just passed away from it. Even though we supported different teams, football was always a talking point. My last memories are with him at wembley. Football is the beautiful game because it brings people together who may not have anything else in common, which is essentially what family is :-)
