Interesting that Cox has been called up for the u21's and Ward the u20's. As I think most Rovers fans think at this moment in time Jed is a better keeper than Cox who’s got international recognition it shouldn’t be surprising…. But it is ! Well done Jed 😃

also, as we expect credit for loans with us from higher up shout out to Precott Cables, Swindon Supermarine, Hungerford and Wealdstone. Hope you all get to crow about having had England's no1 play for you one day!
Give him the contract he has earned and give him the actual No1 shirt for next season (to fight for the actual place with a more experienced keeper)

Amazing that little old Rovers have the best two young English goalies in their match day squad this season.

This is just super news for Jed and everyone that has invested time and energy into his development.
He’s a lad with so much potential and I couldn’t be more delighted for him.
We all watch on as, through his own application, he firstly makes the Rovers shirt his own on a long term basis and secondly helps us to promotion sometime soon.
He might do so well he moves on at some point. In the meantime, we enjoy the moments as long as they last.

Football doesn't seem to work like that anymore, if a Premiership or Championship club sees any potential in JW then he won't need to do well for us to get a move. England U21 goalie James Trafford moved last summer for £15m after just the one season in L1, so there's a good benchmark to aim to beat!!
