Yes. How else would it work? The player's agent tells Rovers that there's no way their client will tie himself down to such a long contract. Contract lengths don't mean much these days. It will give the player security while knowing he can still leave if a decent offer came in, which if playing well, it will.

Long contract with a minimum release clause maybe ? 3 year deal on a decent wage should be the minimum for us.

Slightly off topic but Harry Vaughan now called up by Ireland's U19's so that's 6 players called up according to Bristol Live but Baggot's apparently withdrawn due to injury.
