With the exception of Taylor,there isn't one defender in this squad that is any good, and I include the keeper in that. Ward is only 20. That's a baby in goalkeeping terms and what protection does he get from from his defense. That said I suspect we will see an experienced keeper come in next season as Ward develops over the next couple of seasons. |

Defence has been shambles all season Both Barton and Taylor have struggled with playing 3/4/5 at the back and we’ve not had a settled line all season. I thought Taylor was going to stick to a back 3, and he may well once his players are in the building, but all this chopping each week doesn’t help Ward will be a top keeper but will need an experienced keeper too next season UTG |

Looks as of the team talk before the match by taylor was. We had a torturous coach trip up and now we are going to get battered by a better team. Go out and don't concede.

f**k me I wouldn't keep anyone from this squad outside of Taylor, Evans, Conteh, Sinclair, Ward, G Ward, Martin.
Huge rebuild needed this summer.

Ward doesn't have the stature or the presence to be a decent keeper |
