Taylor talked about some of this group now not training with the first team … Will be interesting to see who they are. Fully expecting Cox to start against Port Vale - don’t agree with it just sense it might happen. I assume that’s after today and not before?

Taylor legit sounds in tears. I think he’ll walk. It’s too stressful dealing with this club. If he does he really needs to get a grip how can manager a team of players if he get emotional about one heavy defeat, I wonder if Neil Warnock fancies one last job a bit closer to his home than Aberdeen?

I had my own business and played rugby. You stand up to your responsibilities (if you really want to) and grab the bollocks out of every situation and tackle it/and them head on. It's called management. If Matt is struggling I'd have empathy with him obviously.

I didn’t think he sounded like he was close to tears.
Sounded hacked off that’s for sure.

no. I watched the match - did you? Yes, for your information I have watched every single game this season. You don’t need me to explain how I have watched quite a number of them though? As regards today, they were quite clearly a better side than us, didn’t shut up shop and allowed us to play, but picked us off with ease withouthaving to break sweat. If we have more than three or four players that played today in our team next season we will fail yet again. Yes they were a better side mainly due to having a better goalkeeper (on the day) and confident, clinical finishing. I know we're not allowed to criticise Jed but I really felt he was off his game today whereas their keeper closed the angles perfectly each time we had an opening. Lincoln had 5 shots on target and 5 goals. We had more shots on target and zero goals. That suggests to me that we were matching them in most departments except finishing and goalkeeping.

Well done the travelling gas. Sadly let Down again They’ll all be phoning in sick on Monday. A 180 mile journey is hugely debilitating apparently.

You can only manage the players you have. Not single experienced defender available to him and no pace upfront and some knowing the writing is on the wall as far as next season goes. They did the same to Barnsley and Cambridge in the last couple of week. Yes it's bad but not the end of the world yet particularly considering how many players out with injuries. MT now needs to make sure heads don't drop and the season end really badly. Summer rebuild must go well for Taylor to see Christmas at the club. Sorry, we have just lost five nil away from home after being thumped three nil last week, it’s not acceptable, Taylor was playing in defence, what’s Taylor done to make him go backwards. Why take off Brown when people said he was the best of a bad bunch? I’ve not listened but what did he come out with in the presser?

Matt Taylor is obviously a strong man mentally. He basically walked into a basket case of a run club. Id imagian most sensible thinking gasheads no that. He is obviously the team manager and inherited a totally unbalanced squad. Anyway having watched my first game in 1977 I'm pretty bulletproof to any defeat and realise there are far more important things in life unless it's losing to the 82ers 😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬

All you naysayers, tut tut. He's the Messiah. After all, we've had 2 clean sheets in the last 4 games.
Oh yeah, we've scored 1 and conceded 9.
Go Matt. 🏴☠️

Not watched the goals back yet but the first was down to whoever was supposed to be marking the goal scorer failing to do his job not Ward, although it sounds like his mistake led to the corner from which they then scored.
The goalie situation has been odd all season as Cox never had any real competition from Hall. I wonder how much we've paid Hall to just basically sit on the bench all season.

Just got back.. From a near perfect iFollow..
Just one word: Embarrassing.
Shame on you privileged few that exposed our near 400 that trekked to that display. I find it disgusting.
You live a privileged life, doing what you love, and you can't be professional enough to put in an effort to run and jump when required. Shower of sh!t.

Taylor in tears?
No, the absolute opposite he sounded very angry and determined to get rid of weak players.
There is enough experience in the management team to build a more resilient team than this. Stevenage would be a good benchmark of what is achievable if you recruit well and have a consistent game plan. Barton saw himself as a football master in League One and presided over the assembly of ageing, inconsistent team that flattered to deceive. No pace, power, little structure.
Recruitment isn't difficult, as the cuurent weaknesses are so glaringly obvious. Budget will be interesting, but we are realistically 2 seasons away from having a challenging team in League 1.
The meltdown tonight is justified. But it is just more nails in this squad's coffin. This is basically what the Manager said.

Mike Green, never played a game. Two medals just the same.

Maybe he's getting advice from Eddie Jennings!
