If the solicitors matched the players I wouldnt want them defending me I've done the research and neither seem to be qualified legal professionals, if they are impersonating lawyers I advise you get in contact with the police because it's bloody illegal! Talking about people breaking the law, I hope the police will also send Tom Gorringe to prison!

I've noticed you have mentioned that on a few occasions, what would the charge be to warrant such a punishment?

Think Baggott could well happen …
Aguillera on loan Next season would not surprise either.
Nombe up front could do rather well with the right supply.

Does TG oversee the catering side at the club? If so, going by twitter posts a charge for crimes against sausage rolls would have legs

I think some people are forgetting that these are young players that can get a lot better. I expect some world have said similar stuff about Quansah last season. With age and experience a lot of players improve a lot. Vale and baggott both have the potential to get better and at least play in the championship. I think Vale could be a decent championship player in the longer term but I’m not convinced it will be as a winger or wide attacker - I’d expect to see more goals, assists and skills from a player destined for a top flight career as an attacker. I think he should concentrate on being an athletic, attack minded full back or wingback.

There was a lot of expectation and excitement when Vale signed. He seemed like a massive coup. Lots on here were hoping for or maybe expecting an Anderson-type impact.
If he was on loan from Blackpool or Bolton, I don’t think there’s many Gasheads who would be clambering for another season of Vale. The fact he’s highly-rated and from Chelsea has, in my opinion, clouded judgement. I can’t think of too many stand-out performances.
I’m not bothered about keeping any of our loanees.

He’s been invaluable as a makeshift left back and covering left wing back and even in the middle For a young lad he has learnt a great deal from his first season. I’d have him in a heartbeat, as I think his real future lies as a more attacking player People forget he’s what, 20? With the right support I think there’s a good talent in there I’d also like to see Aguilera return but think he’s destined for much better things Agree that the rest I’d be in no rush to keep UTG

Until the last few games I would have said Vale was our player of the season. He was consistently our best player before Christmas but has gone off the boil since his mystery illness/injury. But he will recover from that and next season it wouldnt surprise me to see him break into the Chelsea squad. The truth is I dont think Gasheads are great judges of talent. Quansah was not seen positively and I remember many on this forum slagging off Tom Lockyer when he was with us. So, sadly, I would say no chance of Vale being with us next season - but if Ipswich get promoted I would take Baggot back (I suspect Ipswih may want him if they stay down), and taking Aguilera would be a no-brainer but I doubt he will be available again.

90% change in personnel for me next season. Which will probably equate to a 90% chance of another mid table finish at best. Hopefully a huge overhaul of players will see them all gel in time for the 2025/2026 season !! Such a huge overhaul should have started in January with a few more coming in alongside Conteh - they and the few existing players we’ll be retaining as first XI players would have then stood a chance of forming the basis of a new team and getting off to a good start.

Problem is Eric don't think there's much available in January,Conteh was a real coup methinks It would have meant paying fees and a smaller pot of players during January but whilst the pot of players is bigger in the summer (and players are out of contract and available free) the number of clubs offering them deals also increases. Looking to do 99% of our business in the summer window so we can do it on the cheap will unfortunately make it extremely difficult for a team to gel and compete for promotion. As you can guess I’m not too optimistic about next seasons prospects !!!

Haha,I guess it's swings and roundabouts,we need to be quick off the mark but I can see a scenario where the players we need to improve the team will be much in demand and we will not win a bidding war,I always travel in hope but accept the reality that it will be tough next season.
