"Much, much clearer are Starmer’s thoughts on Labour frontbencher Thangam Debbonaire’s eye-catching suggestion that Labour was looking at a 10% tax on Premier League transfers. “Let me just kill that one … let me just kill it dead,” said Starmer."

Lots of Politicians at lots of footy clubs during their campaigns. The PM spent some time at Stafford Rangers.Doesn't mean they have a political bias, simply that it was an ideal venue for a crowd too big for the town Hall and think they made a few quid on the catering. That's fine. I think allowing them to print Labour's mantra on a Rovers shirt wasn't a great idea.

Which is totally different than Rovers local MP using the club to desperately try and get extra votes to beat her opponent from the Green Party? It seems pretty clear that somebody at Rovers is hoping the present Labour MP beats her opponent from the Green Party. Did nobody tell Labour that Horfield hates us?

I doubt they are that worried about one poster on here? 😂

This is very true but the hypocrisy doesn't mean football clubs should become party political footballs (no pun intended) - football is very much political but I think clubs and a political parties should not be directly linked. Doing press conferences at a stadium is fine but the shirt printing crosses a line. Plus it's impossible to avoid suspecting that the use of Rovers is strategic given the history with the club and the Green Party and the fact that the local Labour party tried - cynically in my view - to make political capital out of the South Stand delays. I don't think it's conspiratorial to think Rovers might be being exploited here. To be clear and in line with the mods request I hope I'm making these points as ones anyone may or may not agree with regardless of political allegiances.

Was doing the walk for the Darby rimmer foundation and Marcus Stewart Saturday so would be surprised if they have got rid of him just a few days after.

I believe he took part in the MND walk, with other Rovers staff, at the weekend.

No, it really means "keep politics out of football !" you are entitled to view it differently; why Rovers decided to hitch its cart solely to the Labour party ? I just do not know why, it has just divided the support even more than it currently is.

New poster joins and tells all we’re signing Niall Ennis. Goes quiet. Comes back a few days/weeks later and tells us the CEO is gone on a thread where such rumours have already been proven to be incorrect. Doesn’t look reliable does it?

I was hoping you knew we had signed him and TG was instrumental in that. Disappointed face :-(

Comes back a few days/weeks later and tells us the CEO is gone on a thread where such rumours have already been proven to be incorrect. Doesn’t look reliable does it? There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know. In short things change, I've made a few posts 1. Regarding Ennis 2. Regarding Gorringe If I get one of these correct that's a 50% hit rate. Still higher than some of the ITK's in here. When did Kite join again?
