The size of the budget is totally irrelevant… if the Leader can’t motivate his players we will be fodder for the rest of the division. Thirty shots to Vale, two to us, eight days off he gave that lot, eight days after conceding five and not managing to score for the third game on the trot. he is culpable. |

Taken a team most managers praised for its attacking abilities and turned it into a hopeless team that fail to score against teams in the relegation zone.
I said it earlier in the year and i say it again

Can Taylor last until the end of the season? How many more embarrassing games is there going to be? We might be a mid table team but this is bad as the relegation season, no effort, no ideas, weak, pathetic, boring rubbish. I want to take my kids and grandkids, but no way can I put them through that, just dreadful.

If this was a trial for next season, Goodbye Gordon, Wilson, Sinclair, Finley, Martin, Hoole, Connelly (couldnt even get on), Marquis, Evans, and Hunt (always injured)

They will win Monday because some of this lot will be scared of the reaction of the home fans if they turn up like this again. We are all Gasheads, we all want the best, I just post what I am told and let’s be honest, none of it has been wrong yet. I will go to the remaining home games with my season ticket but I am going to enjoy the clocks changing, the spring and the summer but I don’t need the Rovers debating anymore for a few months which is a personal choice. I'm struggling to understand this. Is JB ppg in league one better than Taylor now? Maybe someone can confirm what JB record was this season and compare it to Taylors . I'm talking about this current season. i doubt ppg shows the the true picture as at least we were competitive in most of JB's games, although he was working with all his own players and didn't have to deal with them putting on their flip flops with a dozen games to go. |

I seriously can’t see how 0 goals for and 9 against in the last 4 games is “moving in the right direction” as Taylor keeps telling us. He needs to get a serious grip because what he’s dishing out at the moment is nothing short of a disgrace

Well that was pathetic in the extreme. And the players and manager should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
Bristol Rovers long suffering fans, especially those who spent their hard earned cash who travelled away today at least deserve a bit of effort. Not too much to ask for.
There is no excuse at all for a performance like that.

There is no point blaming the manager for this - the players were second to the ball all over the pitch. No coincidence that we only started to look vaguely threatening in attack when Evans and Finlay went off. Looking on the positive side it should make the retained list easier to define. Wilson does not look good enough. Finlay does not look good enough. Gordon does not look good enough. I thought Jed Ward had a poor game - he will need serious competition if he is to keep his standard high enough to be in a team challenging at the top next season.
