Was there once a lady called Fanny Tickler or was that a bit of an urban myth? There's a German Skier called Fanny Chmelar.

It was incredible how many people shortened his first name and mispronounced his surname.

Have to deal with a lot of Dr’s in my job and have come across a few interesting ones. The worst one who you probably wouldn’t want to see would be Dr De’ath. There was also a Occ Health Physician called Dr C Bass and also a neurosurgeon called Dr Jellineck. I have a customer called Michael Dane and not a lot of people know that

My brother swears there used to be a family in Sea Mills with the surname Dick. Their kids were called Shona, Adora and Ivor. (Not sure whether he was kidding on though!) Adora Dick went to school in Bath (can’t believe there is more than one), albeit back in the 70’s. So there you go, your brother wasn’t kidding.

I used to work at a bank in Brislington, and there was a customer called Donald Duck. He was an elderly chap, and was born before the cartoon version came along. Don lived down the road from me. I went to school with his son, Kevin
