My brother swears there used to be a family in Sea Mills with the surname Dick. Their kids were called Shona, Adora and Ivor. (Not sure whether he was kidding on though!) Adora Dick went to school in Bath (can’t believe there is more than one), albeit back in the 70’s. So there you go, your brother wasn’t kidding. Cheers Blueside. A copper? Jeez, I'll bet she got some err...stick.

I kid you not ,when I joined Lloyds Bank in Bristol in 1973 worked with a guy called Walter Closset, who does that to their kids🤭🤭 I joined TSB in 1983 and we had a customer service officer named Phillip McAveety. It was incredible how many people shortened his first name and mispronounced his surname. I wonder if he had a mate called Ben Doone
