I would assume we have a clause for Aaron to win promotion but what about JCH.
No doubt we got some extra money when Peterborough went up before, but does the promotion clause come into effect more than once if it still from the same division?
I assume it is based on the wording on the clause.
Did we put in a EFL trophy clause?

We would need to ask a legal expert about the JCH deal. It depends on the initial contract and the wordings and whether it's multiple.
A.C is a yes!.

The more you think about it, the more you realise what a bargain Collins was. I know his head and heart had gone by the end, but £750,000 in today’s market is peanuts. I hope we have a hefty sell on fee for him but wouldn’t hold my breath! UTG

So technically it is within the ' contract' by the two clubs and not extended. That's if it was a 4 year contract. Surely AC would have perks for us .

He became a legend with his traffic light shannanigans and then we get £750k for him. Absolute bargain.

I think as he cost nothing £750k was ok at that time,I can't recall loads of clubs rushing to sign him and most people on here wanted him gone before his price dropped due to his poor form, short memories.

Yes Trevor I get that, but surely that doesn’t mean he deserves to be booed though? I certainly won’t be on his back that’s for sure.

Totally agree Marshy ,never understood the rationale for booing ex players unless they have behaved badly towards the Club or supporters,it's only like changing employer which is what we all do

We got a good deal for Collins and to say it’s peanuts is a bit dramatic as it’s twice our record transfer fee.
Bolton should be buying championship ready players, I’m not sure he’s that.

I can't see why we really need to boo or cheer him, why not just treat him like any other Bolton player as that's what he is now.

Although I wont be clapping an opposition player either. According to Bolton fans he has found his confidence a slow start. Shame he went so long underperforming for us. I guess playing alongside better players helps!

Why is it different to changing employer,we employed him that's all nothing more, nothing less, same rights as the rest of us ,booing ex players is pretty immature.
