Any update on you can't see us picking up another point when you posted this?. Six points, four goals, lots of chances and some great attacking play whilst also looking solid at the back. Hindsight eh? Tbf to Steve the attendance Tuesday evening shows the football recently has been dreadful, in the East Stand Tuesday I could have invited some family and friends, laid out a few tables and held a function there was so much room! 🤦🏾♀️

Football doesn't work like that, did I expect to win at Bolton, home to Portsmouth etc?. Bolton at home we were the better side and got nothing. The quotes Steve K has made are way over the top and thought I would ask if he still feels the same as when he posted a lot of points that have proved to be way over the top.

Then again perhaps KB read that post and that was in his thoughts when he told MT to stop messing about and just play his best starting 11, pretty certain the booing he received brought him to his senses.

So after his wonderful speech a couple of months ago where is the owner to reassure fans as to what is happening with the football club? Where does he think we are in relation to his target of Championship in three years? All he has shown IMO is a total lack of knowledge of the game of football . The gaps on the terracing are the visible evidence on what has been and is a total disaster. Is there a team in this division or in fact the entire football league who we could beat or at least score against at the present time? I honestly cannot see any evidence that we will pick up another point this season. The season began with optimism- like or dislike Joey Barton there was a feeling around the fans that this would be our season- a club that was going somewhere. A £1m offer for JCH and that transfer deadline for me was the beginning of the end- a cock up of mighty proportions that began the slippery slope that these owners have brought to my club. We never really heard what JB thought of that decision but looking back I see it as the beginning of the end for JB. To me it was the move that would change the narrow defeats to narrow victories- a player who didnt need others to create goals for him. It was an almost unheard of move for our club-paying out a new transfer record on a player who was the best in the division at what he did-score goals and leading the frontline. Instead we lost one striker and got nobody. We made ourselves a laughing stock and I think at that stage it was the start of players starting to doubt what they had signed into. The decline in AC scoring was partly down to him but more to all our hopes of winning matches being on his shoulders and I feel he had made his mind up then that he would be on his way. JCH would have taken that pressure and relished it instead of totally wasting a season of his career. Peterborough yet again taught us a lesson in how to run a successful football club- by replacing their star striker with two new players on the assumption he would go and then stand by that decision. We on the otherhand ended up with nothing. There is little doubt in my mind that JB was angered by that farce but probably if he had said anything he would have been sacked then instead of further down the road. The sacking of JB could have been handled so much better if the owners had somebody in mind for the job- we will never know how much Wael had in this decision- but i feel very little. It was the new owner flexing his muscle but also showing that he had very little knowledge of running a football club. It took him months before his speech and now the repeated silence has seen us on a downward slope that has just kept getting worse. Does the owner even know that the standard of football being produced is dreadful to the eye? A good business man is not necessarily the right option to run a football club. Even a very rich owner is only as good as the amount of money he is prepared to put in to the football club. How much is he putting into the club and how much is being taken oucan't make accusations because we don't really know . We dont know how much is loans and how much money out of the owners pocket. We have to believe what the owners tell us and that is very little and not very often. We look like a ship that is out of control because the only evidence we as football fans have is what we see on the pitch and that at present is a decline of epic proportion. The new stand is the only visible evidence of anything the owners have put in and the numbers in that stand has gone down with the football produced. Now is the time for the leader to come out and lead before he has no one left to lead. Any update on you can't see us picking up another point when you posted this?. Six points, four goals, lots of chances and some great attacking play whilst also looking solid at the back.

The only thing that has changed is we have picked up six points and actually managed to score some goals. The rest of my points i stand by at this time. By the gaps on the terracing on Tuesday i think a lot of other fans felt the same way. Sodbury Gas if we all had hindsight there would be no point of a forum. Its very easy to be critical after the event. Perhaps your point would have been more valid if you had posted an alternative before the two games. Anyway i am pleased we got the six points and scored some goals.

I think the point some people are trying to make is that you and others on this forum are really negative and only highlight what you think is wrong with the club. You’re way over the top in your reactionary posts and I’m sure you would be a happier person if you just chilled a little and try and wait to see if the owners do manage to drag us a little nearer the modern era. I find it a little harsh that you attack them because we didn’t have a manager in place the instant Barton got sacked because I’m guessing he didn’t go purely on the back of results alone but because of the outburst about Steve Evans being the final straw! How could they legislate for that happening and have someone ready to step in? Onwards and upwards UTG

Anyway i am pleased we got the six points and scored some goals. Good to hear you are pleased about the six points. The owners held a fans forum recently involving members of the board, manager, head of recruitment and playing staff which anyone could attend. So I would say that is hearing from the owner. There have been some improvements at the ground but appreciate you don't go to games at the moment so wouldn't have seen them. Part of the improvements is to enable fans that couldn't access the ground easily to be able to attend, surely something that will benefit you. Perhaps you could give the manager a chance to build his own team like you gave the last manager. There has been some great preferences as well as some very poor performances. I've no idea if the owners or manager will be a success but give them a chance. You only seem to have negative views because Joey Barton was sacked. No manager or owner is bigger than the club we all support. Look forward to you returning to the ground and hopefully a successful season next year.

Nice to see Hussain with the local MP as a guest of the club at the Reading game, contact which can only be helpful.
Also that he will lead the team behind Bristol Rovers Women's side as the Gas Girls play at the Mem next season, after the great work in recent years by the Community Trust.
Not bad for an invisible man in my opinion.

I wonder if there will be anything interesting said. That'll depend on how hard the interviewer is prepared to push him for answers? So probably not a lot now 20man has retired.
