I thought the same, it looked like a deliberate foul to me. Clear goal scoring opportunity, if that was outside the box it’s a red. I don’t understand how he hasn’t got a yellow - he’d have had an open goal Aren’t clear goal scoring opportunities treated differently by refs now? - outside its red but inside not provided the offender has made a genuine attempt to play the ball? Stops players getting punished several times for one incident (pen, red card and ban). I guess the ref just needed to decide whether it was a routine foul or a yellow card foul? |

There was bound to be a time in this match when Cheltenham would respond in their situation. They did and we showed our concentration, determination and defensive organisation. We deserved the third to be fair.
