Vale were 2 up at home to Exeter, now level. That'll give Cheltenham a boost Burton winning 2-0 won't! Exeter winning 3-2 now

Seeing Hunt, Taylor and the ref all having a laugh together there having some banter while Wilson is down. If I was a Cheltenham fan facing relegation here, I’d be livid

Clear goal scoring opportunity, if that was outside the box it’s a red. I don’t understand how he hasn’t got a yellow - he’d have had an open goal Aren’t clear goal scoring opportunities treated differently by refs now? - outside its red but inside not provided the offender has made a genuine attempt to play the ball? Stops players getting punished several times for one incident (pen, red card and ban). I guess the ref just needed to decide whether it was a routine foul or a yellow card foul? Not sure he had anything to decide it looked a clear yellow, not that it would much difference as it's v. unlikely a goalie would get a second yellow.

Considering our recent history - this scoreline is pretty ground-breaking. No one saw this coming. We are right to be happy this evening. Happy days ahead. I had a feeling we would win today but 3-0 is better than I predicted

The Players seem to have gone back to work and upped tools again.

Based on recent performances it’s very easy, incredibly easy, to predict a defeat today. Football is as much about hope despite what we see around us trying to replace hope with defeatism. I can’t really enjoy football without hope. To give Matt Taylor credit he is making changes to the team and having a good look at players before decisions are taken at end of the season. With forty-five minutes to go, I’m hopeful that we can create chances and take them. If we win well at Cheltenham it will calm the fans and create enthusiasm for the future. I’ll take a clean sheet and a 1-0 victory. A 3-0 or more would be ground-breaking based on our recent history. Ever hopeful, as always. Leave the predictions to Richhertford 😆 To be fair he’s been hiding under the bus for weeks.

Good decision IMO - a penalty was sufficient punishment for a player going for the ball, being slightly late and tripping his opponent and in no way dangerous. Not a yellow anywhere else on the pitch as an isolated foul.

Considering our recent history - this scoreline is pretty ground-breaking. No one saw this coming. We are right to be happy this evening. Happy days ahead. It's only ground breaking because we've been so poor for weeks, we should be beating teams like Cheltenham 3-0 most weeks, lets hope this is the start to a good finish to the season, rather than yet another one off good performance. The game probably highlights players like Hoole, Gordon, McCormick and Connolly need to be moved on this summer and G Ward is too injury prone.

They may have changed it again since I followed the rules, but my understand was that about 10 years ago a red and penalty will no longer be given as it’s a double punishment, just a yellow. As far as the rest, I have no idea

Unexpected result.

It's wonderful to be back to winning ways. It's been a while!
Note of caution. This doesn't now make Taylor a tactical genius. He had the strongest side available today (Wilson aside) and they showed they can outplay a team in the bottom 4.
Great to see Jordan Rossiter back. He's a class above.
Think that might be a bridge too far now for Darrell and Cheltenham.
