Just imagine the level Jordan Rossiter would be playing if he could stay fit. No coincidence we've lacked bite in the midfield for 18 months. Great to see his 50 minute cameo today. Thought Baggott looked solid also, would enquire about his services again next season, or even a cheeky bid if Ipswich were to get promoted to the Prem. Only downsides were the injuries to Wilson and Ward - as good as they can be we cannot afford to keep these players next season! Certainly well above league one if his career hadn’t been blighted by injuries. I remember when he was coming through at Liverpool and he was very highly thought of. Hope we can keep him on some sort of pay as you play deal or a combined coaching role next season

Rossitor on fire here. Just great to see. Pleased for him. If he could stay fit, he is a championship player I would say a Premier League player

Just got home …
Great day out - everyone gave their absolute all and it was a pleasure to watch.
Rossiter was outstanding … just brilliant.
Fans were so loud - was crazy atmosphere.
Well done Marshy !

Great to hear about how well Rossiter played today. Such bad luck to be struck with injuries throughout his career let’s hope he can stay fit for the last three games and hopefully for him whether it is with us or another team I for one wish him all the best for the future. Yes he has been getting paid but it must be very frustrating not to be able to play games and continually worry when your sat on the sidelines of a game you love.

Hopefully a deal that’s fair to both him and club can be agreed. He knows he’s got a chronically bad knee and to come straight in and perform like that after 18 months out was amazing tbh - it must be so hard to be so physically comitted when you don’t quite know if your body will hold up. Showed not all the scousers are “tumours” within the club 😁!!!

Apologies if it's already been mentioned, but Christian McLean turned up 10 minutes into the game. Sat in the Colin Farmer stand, by the corner flag. Had a nice round of applause.

Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon out. Rovers fans sang their hearts out pretty much for 90 mins. 80% to 90% was about the snake. Sercombe got a good shout out.
Matt Taylor (the manager) can set up a team to play attacking football. Today we played with our hearts on our sleave and wanted to play football and score goals.
Today was the kind of football, I will happily watch next season.

Interesting listening to Taylor talk about recent selections, and how today he picked his best 11 for the day, as opposed to previous matches where he's picked the best 'for the club' and to keep others happy. It goes some way to explain strange selections which presumably were with the summer and next season in mind. Fair play to him for coming clean with that and he admitted that he risked some players today (presumably Rossiter, Ward, Hunt and Wilson) to get the result.
Hard to pick a standout today, they were all excellent, but thought Vale and Sinclair were very decent. Rossiter edged it for me though after so long out, and if we ever can get 30 games a season out of him we'd double our chances of a promotion push.

Post match interview I'm no fan as yet (hope to be proved massively wrong) of Taylor, but huge respect to him for his acknowledgement of the difference that Jordan Rossiter makes to our team. When fit, he's head and shoulders above almost anyone in the division. 🏴☠️

I'm a bit thrown by MT's comments about putting his best XI out today. Not good for McCormick or Brown which is no surprise. But Connor Taylor and Conteh out of the starting XI? And Jed Ward who has just been given a 5 year deal?
