If you have travelled from central Bristol to each away game this season you have travelled exactly 5,000 miles this season! *
Anyone done it?
It's an average of 263 miles per game (round trip) which seems pretty high to me. maybe someone has figures for previous season?
AND the 19 games have included 2 Bank Holiday games and a Sunday game, 4 Tuesday night games, and 5 All-ticket games.
* Using a round trip, and the 'official' mileage figure from the Supporters Club newsletter, plus a route finder for the 2 Cup matches. It really is exactly 2,500 miles (one way) so far this season.

Yep. Missed 1 home game but been to every away. sadly we don't have a 'bow down' emoticon, so this will have to do [cue criticism by someone who thinks I'm suggesting people who go to all games are better than others... LOL ]

Respect to anyone going to Gateshead. You mad, mad bastards. Nearly 600 mile round trip. Wonder how many we'll take? I reckon 250-300.

I reckon 250-300. maybe more?? some are flying, some making weekend of it. some will come from North etc. When I live 'up north' I obviously tried to do the games up there, and took the chance to do some trips that were still a bit of trek with an old banger, even from manchester! (Carlisle, Hartlepool etc) P.s. none of the above is a criticism. Just saying that not everyone comes from central bristol to away matches.

Yeah, getting close to 5,000 in total this season but over 3,000 was just travelling to home matches.
Would be a lot higher but for so many oop north matches in this league.

I've done every home and away game so far (for my sins!) and have enjoyed it more than any season for a good few years. It's funny what a committed and hard-working team can achieve, both on the pitch and in terms of winning over fans.
Well done to anyone else who travels to away games; it isn't always easy!

Seen every game bar Tranmere. Couldn't be bothered with the FA Cup. As for missing a home game, well, call himself a Gashead? You should hang your head in shame
