Ward 6.5 done most things right. Hoole 6.5 nice forward movement. Taylor 6 still not to his best Baggott 7 best of defence. Vale 7.5 excellent! Thomas 8 m o m dazzling! Rossiter 6.5 ok but still needs more time. Evans 7.5 decent lay off to LT for the ball but his dead ball deliveries leave a lot to be desired. Aguilera 5 inaffective. Sinclair 6 looked ok rightfully subbed. Martin 7 all he does is score goals....and miss them!
Cox Connolly 5 strange sub. Gordon Brown 4 done his usual nothing apart from regulation shot and regulation save. Conteh 7 better than his replacement. McCormick Vaughan 5 looks like a child out there but he ran around the playground a bit
Ref 6.5 got some things wrong but majority right. Soft pen. Cambridge 5.5 steady 3rd division team looked pacey and well organised.
Yea ok a good win MT, we again failed to score when on top and only the woodwork and clearance off the line stopped it being a credible draw for both sides.

Ward - 7, though didn't have loads to do
Hoole - 7.5, gets an extra half-point for the late clearance off the line Taylor - 6.5, looks like he needs to put his feet up this summer, and ideally play most of next season with the same keeper and defenders around him Baggott - 7, did OK. Vale - 7.5, the best of our loanees this season by some way. If there was some way we could persuade him to sign permanently I'd be very pleased.
Rossiter - 7, good half hour or so but looked a bit tired before half-time. Slightly surprised to see him start the second half. Evans - 7.5, lovely pass to Thomas for the goal. Again, looks like he needs some quiet time in the summer but he has had a very good season. Thomas - 7.5 and MOM, good to see him playing well and, I hope, enjoying it. Maybe he should spend a few hours on shooting practice as he seems to scuff a lot of shots. Aguilera - 6, looks a bit lightweight at the moment, though clearly a good player in there. If Forest want him to have a full season at this level with us we should take them up on it as the more games he gets under his belt the better he will be. Sinclair - 7, good game, as is generally the case in my view.
Martin - 7, half a point off for the missed penalty but gets it back for the goal.
Subs Connolly - 7, thought he did OK, looked better than Taylor last night. Vaughan - 6.5, when he came on I hoped he would have a good impact, as he did at Northampton, but not his night. Conteh - 7, solid player, glad we bought him. Brown - 6.5, he is an enigma. He is 30 in October according to Wikipedia, I thought he was younger. Let's hope MT can get him playing well next season.
Ref - 7, how nice to see a ref try to keep the game flowing, and not flash cards, though there wasn't a nasty challenge all game.
Cambridge - 6, OK they hit the bar but didn't offer much/anything going forward apart from dead ball situations. We have, though, lost to worse teams.
