I know not really Rovers related but interesting Evans has jumped ship as soon as it was obvious Stevenage wouldn’t make the play offs. Steve Evans has left Stevenage to become Rotherham manager. Rotherham announced the departure of head coach Leam Richardson this morning after their relegation from the Championship was confirmed earlier this month. Evans returns to the New York Stadium alongside assistant Paul Raynor, with the duo signing contracts that will run until 2027. The pair led the club to back-to-back promotions from League Two to the Championship between 2012 and 2014 and will take charge of their fixture against Birmingham on Saturday.

Evans is in demand, wonder what Joey makes of that given he was none too complementary and his comments on Radio Bristol may have contributed to his downfall.
Fair play to Evans - a long and successful career, would be surprised if JB gets another job.

It is Rovers related. Paul Raynor is an ex Rovers player

They say you should never go back after success though, as we found out with Gerry Francis

Good solid appointment for rotherham he will have them challenging next season.
Tough league next year.
Wrexham and Stockport will throw a lot of money at going straight up.
Think Wednesday will be back down here too. Charlton will be strong the way Jones has transformed them since coming in and 2 from Bolton Barnsley and Peterborough will still be here next year.

Well he hasn't been very complimentary about him again, and still not the most offensive thing he has said today

Basically hoping to be a Piers Morgan but with less charm. I wonder if he believes half the stuff he says

Good appointment. Stevenage had a wobble, but they didn't fall over.

JB could have probably done similar if he hadn't decided to go down the social media influencer (or whatever it's called) route. Given how much the Tate brothers claimed to have earnt then perhaps he's made the right choice.

As much as I've disliked Evans over the years, to be fair to him (including non-league) he has managed over 1000 games with 9 promotions on his CV.

There’s a few managers no one likes (unless they are managing your team) I’m thinking Evans, Warnock etc. Tough talking, wind up merchants, horrible at times, but they seem to get a tune out of teams, and as you say seem to get multiple promotions in an old school way 👍🏾
