Collins scores for Bolton - type of player we should be looking at
He’s gone get over him.

Some harsh comments. Thought we deserved a point tbh. Considering we were playing without a striker against a team who was chasing automatic promotion on the penultimate day, I thought we did ok - especially second half. What were people expecting Agree don’t think it was too bad today. We kept JCH quiet. Don’t think there was that much in it.

What were people expecting I guess a L1 side losing £5m a season to have more than one striker on its books? Although having looked back at the Cambridge match replay on iFollow I can't see what Martin did to warrant a red in the 41st minute, as no Cambridge player seemed to appeal for anything. I also can't understand how a sending off for two yellows leads to a 4 game ban for a red.

It wasn't such a terrible season overall. We've had far worse. Admittedly the modest League table place hides some seismic events through the course of it. But we're safe and probably a lot less disappointed than Reading and Charlton fans are immediately below us.

What were people expecting I was expecting some challenges to be put in, someone to run at a defender, maybe a shot or two, just a damp squib like the whole season. We shouldn’t go into a game with no striker, we had a January window to pick someone up. I just have too high expectations these days and should lower them! Sorry Gassy, just totally disappointed and flat tonight.

But we're safe and probably a lot less disappointed than Reading and Charlton fans are immediately below us. We’ve been a League one/League two yo-yo club for 30 years. Until we get the facilities fit for a successful League One/Championship club, League One safety will never be groaned at from me. As you’ve said, we’ve had much worse. We will be back in league two in the next 5 years without significant improvements to income streams.

It’s like watching an ex girlfriend going out with a better looking bloke with a bigger cock than you! But yes, get over him FFS!

Glad I’ve seen the back of the mem for a while , water poor season. Won’t be keeping an eye on the Wigan game so have a good summer all !! I’ll be glad of a break but this season hasn’t been as bad as some will make out. We’ve stayed in the league and had some good results along the way. Our problem has been we can’t score goals and have generally had quite an inexperienced defence. People forget seasons like those we’ve been relegated out of league one or worse league two, or seasons like when Garner threw away a 3rd place position and was only stopped from further capitulation by Covid bringing play to an end. Compared to those this season has not been bad at all. Sign an experienced striker (who could possibly fill this role?), one or two up and coming hopefulls and extend Martin and some experienced heads alongside players like Taylor and Connolly and we’ll come back in August excited for the season ahead.

We’ll have a new girlfriend soon and our ex girlfriend will be looking back wishing they were back where their bread was buttered. Just like with the cock in a cup snake man and JCH who looked to me as if he’d rather be here today!

Aye, people seem to forget that he spent the 6 months before leaving ambling around and looking disinterested in many games.
He'd already checked-out and was never coming back to the form we'd seen.

I’d put my mortgage on a Posh win with JCH scoring. Anyone know a decent b&b?

I also can't understand how a sending off for two yellows leads to a 4 game ban for a red. players are shown a second red card during a season, a one-match ban will be added on top of the suspension for their offence. A third dismissal will lead to two additional matches on the suspension, a fourth will add three matches, and so on. So a red card v Cambridge is three game ban plus one for the previous red, even though that was two yellows.

What were people expecting I was expecting exactly what we got though I was hoping to be surprised. The reality is we are not good enough and today showed us how far off we are.

Burrows with as much space as he likes down the left Hahaha, as he was going down the tunnel, I saw Burrows taking Lucy Hoole out of his pocket; not surprised Burrows was voted player of the year, he took care of business today. Monotone certainly needs to put a pair of fullbacks on his wish list for next season
