What has this role achieved in the last 5 years? i would imagine that its a pretty thankless task as you have to retain confidentiality on things that you may learn and then the supporters call you out for not communicting and achieving anything even if you do so. |

However there must be something that they can point to and say "That was us". |

Even if people got an ' inkling' it is everybody's responsibility to safeguard children. This is a very serious accusation which everyone on this forum would want to be addressed. I never knew this caused the ' fallout'. |

They should 100% been contacted . Let's hope you are right and a report should of been undertaken as well as witness statements. The persons who made the accusations are encouraged to contact designated professionals in order to investigate . The police / social services don't want to discourage people from reporting even though at times it could be false . The main thing is it was reported and a police / social services investigation was done and a report was produced. |

To be honest, I'll take anything they have done in the last 5 years. I am looking for some positives to come out of having a SC Rep. At the moment, the silence is deafening. It would be interesting to know how many Board meetings they attend per season. You'd think there would be something on the Agenda which they are allowed to feedback to supporters. |
