To be fair, I've only ever escaped a works do with free booze twice without making a tit of myself... What, by assaulting someone? No, I left that for my England and Rovers following! Top of Muswell hill after an England Game was a 'Sliding Doors' moment for me. A friend stopped my from doing something that I would have regretted. So very thankful to him. We had some great works parties in my youth. Disabled toilets were used for ahem 'fun times' with your colleagues. I remember one Christmas party when I had too many and ended up throwing up about 21:00. It was a bit of a 'tactical' and I was able to go back to drinking. After that point, I had lots of people asking me if I had been sick. Of course, I denied everything. Next morning, woke up and realised that I had barfed all down my tie. Doh! |

Well at 3pm today Matt Taylor will be able to breathe a huge sigh of relief and see certain individuals for the last time I think he did that when he left them behind in Bristol yesterday, apart from loan players you can see most of today's squad still being here next season. |

Strange that those on this thread who started the rumours about the head butting incident and named the perpetuator are not commenting on reports that the very same individual was in the dugout today and clearly not suspended or sacked.
One of these two things is clearly untrue, I wonder which one?

I didn’t see him during the warm up or sat on the bench, not sure I’d know what he looks like if he walked in my living room though! |

Wayne Carlisle was and was active in the dugout throughout, maybe some have mixed up the two? Or if he was there took more of a backseat? |

The truth is 1981 that some people on here simply refuse to believe that anything could possibly be amiss at their football club. He head butted a member of staff at the awards bash on Sunday and wasn’t there today. if the truth is revealed that he is no longer with us then will those who are desperate for me to be wrong apologise like I will if he is still with us? |

I've not read every reply on the thread but since this is the only place I've seen it alleged I doubt the club will issue a statement about an allegation on a forum. They would if it was covered in more mainstream media or the police were involved. Otherwise I can see why whatever happened is an internal matter for the moment... |
