Disgusting behaviour by many players at the awards on Sunday. No respect shown to the owner or the manager. I think it was Claremont Gas who posted about the scousers being a problem a few weeks back. Sundays display says he’s bang on the money. Get the rats off the ship and quickly. With respect if you aren't prepared to say what actually happened why post anything at all ? |

Disappointed to have to report that my insider confirms also there was also a problem with the lobster, served as the main course. Cooked a 72 degrees C, it should have been 60. I can’t confirm if this led to an issue, but I suspect the Scouse chaps were far from pleased.

I didn’t go this year as to be honest I’m boring and equally dont appreciate watching heavily watered hangers on who regularly look for a freebie from the club and who worm their way in to such events.
Whilst I get on well with our Manager I am also not a fan of some of the hardcore in the player group so another reason to give it a miss.
So to find out some more I rang my good pal Roadman for his view on the evening………….
Here is what he told me … word for word as best as I can remember .
“Marquis turned up in a right mess … heavily drunk and got even more drunk as the evening went on, can only assume it’s because him and the manager have had a row and that’s why he’s not playing - certainly not injured.
The table of scousers showed no respect at all to the manager or owner and talked , heckled and mucked around throughout their speeches and the whole event. Clear they all don’t went to be at the club.
Overall a flat evening .. clearly some players did not want to be there and at times things felt awkward with people being ignored for photo requests etc” ….
As I said .. I wasn’t there but am meeting up for a beer with someone tomorrow night who most definitely was and it will be interesting to hear his views on the events and player attitude.
Hoping fresh faces in the summer - fresh attitude - fresh enthusiasm will buoy all of us.
