I suppose with Ellison and Shaw and probably Lawrence because they've done ok in pre-seasons games they may well be in squads in the August games before decisions are made. Shaw has been good and could have surprised MT. Once we get to the last week of August he’ll be in a better position to judge what to do. For that reason I don’t think anything will happen yet. I’d love Shaw to play, get a few assists and a goal or two and make himself undroppable! Optimistic perhaps. UTG! |

He was named as Blackburn's Young Player of the Year for the 2023–24 season DM who's also filled in at LB and CB. Played the equivalent of 8 1/2 Champ games last season, and just under 6 of their 7 cup games. In all, 14 full games in 28 apps. Probably not as excited about this one |

Probably not as excited about this one 28 appearances for a Championship side last season at just 20 years old is pretty good, even if most were from the bench. He also won their young player of the year award. Pretty much everything I've read about him has been positive, so I'm optimistic he'd be a useful addition. |

They didn't win any game that he played more than 30 minutes in. He played mainly when they were struggling, after Wharton left and they were one of the worst sides in the league. I won't judge any player until they play for us and he's young and still learning. |

Seen the lad several times on Sky last season, very impressive. |
