Alex Hartridge signs for Wycombe. Watch fans moan that we missed out, even though he was an Exeter reject according to most and we don't even know if we wanted him 😂

Rotherham looking to buy their way back up again Does a year in the championship give you added funds, as their home gates are surely not great? Or do they have a rich owner? I know it doesn’t guarantee success, but it’s got to help to get your business done early to get off to a good start? UTG

UTG As a championship club, they would have got £2.3m as a minimum from the Sky TV deal that was in place last season. League 1 clubs got around £750k so they're in a better position to most clubs in our division from the get go.

I love how Rovers fans are experts at advising what the level is that our own players are capable of and yet we also suggest future signings of players that are either much better than our level or have never achieved anything like the level we currently find ourselves! Interestingly I spoke to Brian Little once when he was manager of Stoke and was scouting both Rovers and the cobblers at Northampton. He said most professional players had the ability to play at any level including Premier League, the difference was their mentality. If they were really determined to reach the top they’d have the mental capacity to always do what their manager/coach told them!! Personally I like a bit of unpredictability in the football I’m watching so I am rather glad that some players choose to be more adventurous or attempt a bit of outrageous skill even if it means they don’t always play the way their manager or the level they’re playing at dictates.

The 2 released players that have found clubs are at a lower level, so currently have been proven right

The 2 released players that have found clubs are at a lower level, so currently have been proven right So when Conteh left M'boro to go Grimsby, he found his level? If we get a player from a higher division will it be, he's found his level in L1?
