Northampton have signed a few forwards, Wilson from PV, Morton from Salford (?) and now Eaves. Probably not the type of players we were in for but will do a job for them. UTG! |

I’m not looking at them with any jealousy! No I’m not either. I guess it shows that there are forwards/strikers out there for league 1 but if you want a better quality then you may have to be patient and likely pay a bit more. Also, without knowing, I’m guessing a different expectation at both clubs. Whatever, we will need support for CM and Ruel S. UTG! |

Have I missed it or is there still no news (either way) on Hoole?
On a similar note I believe everyone who was released has fixed themselves up (well at least a trail in Rossiter's case) except Marquis and Josh Grant; anyone heard of them trialling anywhere?

Do you think he's ready for league 1? He's been around the first-team setup at Stoke since he was 15 and probably better physically than most 18-year-olds. Had a decent end to his MK Dons loan and that spell will have stood him in good stead. Looks to have returned this summer even fitter and stronger. |

I asked as his goal return wasn't that good in league 2 so begged the question as to whether he was ready to step up to league 1. From what you say he got better at MKD and has the physical attributes to step up. Could be a possibility  |
