You can download printable boarding passes for Easyjet. Absolutely. Now the interesting bit about Rovers tickets is whether they need the NFC side or not. If they are just QR codes (I will test this on Saturday) then as Topper suggested, you could print one out for him and laminate it. Maybe supporters club Dave could ask that question of the management? Or just try it next week? I'm not sure the club will want to broadcast that a simple screen copy gets you into the ground?

stubborn arrogance attacking people with a different view and letting go with your opposite view. Sometimes attacking poster rather than the post is acceptable. I go to the Hippodrome tk watch shows. I have NEVER used a mobile phone or any other device to gain entry. Just stop asking question that you claim you are capable of answering yourself. I regularly purchase many things in multiple shops venues and outlets. I have never used my phone nor been forced to except BRFC as claimed to be acceptable by you. Your blind arrogance does not seem to accept that I do gain access to the Men without using my phone. Did you not know this as your continuing threads suggest otherwise The issue is everybody seems to be moving to using mobile tickets, not sure you can even still get physical tickets from the likes of Ryanair and easyjet? According to Ryanair's website they charge customers £20 just to print off a physical ticket. That use to be if you arrived at airport without your ticket. Ryanair are trying to get everyone to use their app which will give Ryanair more power over their customers.

(Apart from sharing of season tickets, the risk of which I pointed out in a previous comment) The fact you can get in with just a screenshot of somebody's season ticket seems a big issue to me. I thought last season's cards worked like contactless cards rather than just reading the barcodes, if so, then the club seems to have taken a backwards step.

Whether it's a barcode, QR code or and NFC system, each person will have a unique identifier and - if they are copied - the system should allow the first person with that unique identifier in but then reject any subsequent people trying to use it. It's not difficult, it's used effectively at nightclubs/festivals and sporting events all around the world...

This seasons cards are the same as last seasons card. Which makes it all the more confusing why it seems you can gain entry using just the QR/barcode. If you can then fans are wasting £15 on a physical card when they can just print off a QR/barcode for free, assuming that they have access to a printer.

I then turned off the NFC on my phone I then opened my gallery at the turnstyle and selected my screenshot The turnstyle went green and let me through At half time, I tried to pay for a couple of beers and it worldn't work. Then remembered that I had NFC turned off. Turned it back on and paid for me beers.

So, that confirms that my Father or anyone, could indeed print out their ticket, laminate it, and use that. Cheers.

Well, I do. They want to stop ticket sharing. All etickets that I have ever seen have simply been barcodes/qr codes.

Somebody I was with just used a screenshot and got in, apart from keeping the ticket handy it doesn't look like anybody needs to use Google Wallet or Apple Pay, hopefully nobody went out and bought a new smartphone in the summer thinking they would!

The annoying thing is that if the club had just said that in the first place, they wouldn't have got the bad press and the fans backlash. A bit silly from the club really. (though it was a good argument over the off season!) ;-)

I've received another Season Card today to add to my Apple Wallet despite already having a season card which I've already used (with no problem) for the first two home matches - odd!!!
