Farewell and good fortune Ansi.
Was the best keeper in league one with save after save for us. Then the injury and never got back to the same level. The change in team 'style' didnt help much either.
I enjoyed watching you play so thank you.
I do prefer when possible giving former players gateways to coaching or other roles. Rather than the conveyor belt of strangers.
Helps keep the togetherness in the club.

Has had a very profitable five years with the club ....
60 games in four seasons is scandalous for a goalkeeper - he was always injured ... if he was on a basic of £2,500 pw that would have cost us £130,000 per season at four seasons is £520,000. That is £8,667 per game - Oh then add on the cost of replacing him.
One amazing save - other than that bang average keeper who never came off his line and pleased he is no longer coaching our young guys coming through.
Nice chap - Wish him well.

Not sure most of us would agree with that view, under GC he was probably the best goalie in L1, or at least the defence in front of him made him look the best, I'm not sure we ever recovered from him sustaining his injury at MK Dons in a L1 game. |

It feels like Jaakkola won't be short of job options. He's helped the development of two age level England goalkeepers this season and that will go a long way. Good luck to him.
