Too many doomongers on here!
No one knows what will happen before it happens. We are about to start a recruitment process with a new team of staff and I can completely understand everyone’s concern about next season.
But just like the past 50/60 seasons we have to wait and see who we recruit. I’ve got to be optimistic and trust those to build a decent squad ready for August. It’s the way it’s been for years. The big difference now is that we have forums for people refresh 20 times a day to catch up with nothing happening. People on here demand something to happen and if it doesn’t happen it must be bad news. It’s almost as if it’s got to be either fantastic or awful when in truth we will be average, just like this season.

Depends if they are good or not. If we can afford to have more staff which allows them to focus on their specialist activity and this leads to us having a competitive advantage then why not imo? Club can't win really. Some say we are a tinpot outfit with insufficient backroom staff to manage the club. Others say we are overstaffed and bloated and wasting money. Those who wish we were still Ragbag and don't realise we're a League 1 outfit and its 2024! |

Those who wish we were still Ragbag and don't realise we're a League 1 outfit and its 2024! I think the footballing side of the business will become leaner, it was quite bloated under Barton. People that seem to think we don't need a Goalkeeping Coach are utterly insane though. |
