Why do we need a screen anyway? Because we live in the 21st century. Customer expectation.

Talking of the toilets always recall a rare interview with Mr Wael when we were expecting details of a new stadium and when asked he said,'I have improved the club shop and provided new hand Driers in the gents'. Not exactly what we were hoping for.

In other toilet news when St Pauli hosted Hansa Rostock the other week they closed their usual toilets because Rostock Ultras would always smash them up. They did however put portaloos on for the visiting supporters. Pauli offered €1,000 to Hansa's youth set up for every portaloo not smashed up.

Not exactly what we were hoping for. The sad thing is, the new portacabins toilets at the south stand don’t even have hand driers, paper towels if your lucky!

So no one on the west side of the stadium will be able to see it.I only hope they don't put it in upside down , otherwise the crowd will have to stand their heads to look at it.

It's got to go somewhere and some people will inevitably be unable to see it.
Maybe we can have seat-back OLED screens for everyone when the stadium redevelopment is done.
For now we, like every other club in the world with one screen, have to accept that some won't be able to see it.
Another area where the club just can't win. I don't mind criticising where they've been careless or incompetent, but this 'I won't be able to see the screen!' stuff is a bit much.

Was going to write something similar! lol Where can you put a big screen that everyone can see ffs 🤦♂️😂😂😂

Application No. 24/01549/F
Type: Full Planning
Site Address: The Memorial Stadium Filton Avenue Horfield Bristol BS7 0BF.
Proposal: The installation of a new stadium LED screen and related structure in the southwest corner of the stadium.
It is helpful that the Planning Officer allocated to this application is the same one who oversaw the recent South Stand planning application. He will therefore be aware of the way his every word and action will be forensically scrutinised by anti-stadium activists.
This particular planning officer has a reputation as a thorough, professional and clear-minded individual.
There will now be a lengthy spell of local community consultation and a final decision is likely to be several months away.
Here's hoping for a positive resolution.

Here's hoping for a positive resolution. All for just a TV screen which will probably affect at most half a dozen houses behind the new SW stand!!

Maybe but not in my lifetime! So sorry to hear your sad news, how long have you got? Maybe not long, my wife just found out I'm going to Ashton Gate on a freebie hospitality tomorrow. I refused to take her to see Muse and then Elton John because it was at Ashton Gate.

I see this morning Oxford have agreed to a 250 year long lease where there new ground will be built. It's a shame we the couldn't come to any agreement with council/developers which would allow us to have a modern stadium.
