You would have hoped BCC would have also uploaded the conditions but I guess that's expecting too much of their planning dept.

What are the conditions? That’s it’s not switched on for night games? By the look of it there are three ‘technical’ constraints which have all been “confirmed” - so set to go I think.

Constraints. All health and safety 1) Extension lead must be bright yellow 2) Lead must also be covered to avoid trip hazard 3) Plug must have 5amp fuse. Using tin foil will not suffice. Gone are the days of connecting with the foil from a kit kat, club or trio.

Pre occupation condition(s) 2. The screen hereby permitted shall only display images when the stadium is in operation in association with sports matches or outdoor events, or for occasional testing and maintenance purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the local planning authority. For the avoidance of doubt the stadium operation will be deemed to include periods before and after matches / outdoor events when spectators are allowed in the stadium. Reason: In the interests of residential amenity

It's unbelievable that this is rumbling on... Surely if it safe and secure there are no issues. The houses behind are hardly going to be impacted, when they are already behind the west stand.

Why it's "unbelievable" when it's just how planning works, at least this time there's been no lengthy delays in getting pp any objections from the Greens.

I don't really care who requested it. I just can't see how we could ever do something against it. Hypothetically, how would we ever do something to contravene that condition?

Hypothetically, how would we ever do something to contravene that condition? There's nothing stopping us leaving it on 24/7 if there's no rule saying we can't. Perhaps the ground staff might want to watch day time TV whilst mowing the pitch, who knows 🤷 It's similar to the rule stopping us charging for fans at The Quarters when it was never suggested we were going to even play competitive games at the training ground.

If we could charge for playing games at the quarters, I would bet a pint that the Gas Girls would play there. If the TV was on when people were working, we'll what company would want people watching TV when mowing a football pitch. I understand the condition and it doesn't stop us doing what we want to do with it. It seems to be written so that it's not just a matchday, which is cool.

It was only said in jest about the groundsmen! You sense BCC just like to impose conditions so that they feel they've had some say on the application.

I expect they're trying to stop us using it as an outdoor cinema, or to televise away games.
