Rearrange these words into a phrase:
Pot. Haven’t. water. In. Got. A.
Same as it ever was. One day we’ll wake up and demand more from our custodians, but until that day we are probably at our current peak of expectation.

The missing "to" may have thrown you a bit. It's an interesting paradox, we are reliant on the custodians to fund our expectations and to do so responsibly, yet complain when that funding doesn't meet our expectations.

The accounts show we spent £11 million pounds. So we do have a pot to urinate in. Problem is we’ve urinated too much, it’s overflowed and we’ve committed ourselves to clearing it up at a later date.

At least we have owners willing to fund the losses.
Probably not forever though, and the debts will increase before they decrease with a shiny redeveloped hotchpotch of a stadium to pay for.

It amazes me how many football clubs have huge debts yet still continue to function. If that were “Joe Bloggs & Co” they would simply fold-up!

Whats interesting in these accounts is the playing budget was £6 million under Barton and Wael's watch and the team finished 17th. Is it any wonder the Al Saeeds stepped in when in control and got rid of Barton. It must have been one of the biggest playing budgets in the league for the 2022/23 season and achieved nothing.
