No thanks, the other one we signed who played a big part in their season didnt go too well. 33 too! Wilson was never highly rated by Plymouth fans, but he did a job in a back 3 with others helping. Edward's is a much better player and can play wing back, full back or in midfield. His age would put me off though. When he plays, you get 100% commitment every game and he's the type of player that is shouting at others and gets them going.

No on this one, stay away will be on big wages and his age will play apart. Seems like we recruiting players based in south west.

Have a feeling we might sign him on a two year deal - Sadly I am nervous about it given what a useless piece of sh**e Wilson is!!
He is a scrapper and wont go missing in games.

Someone posted the article on the Plymouth page half an hour ago and they are not happy. A lot saying he will be a future coach and one joking they should make him manager now. I think they would rather him than Rooney 😂.
I don't think he will leave them, unless the new manager doesn't want him.

He isnt Wilson lads! I am nervous about the age, but seems a different person and player to the other ex Argyle player. Surely we wont have two aging right backs in him and Hunt?

Versatile, experienced and was a regular in the Championship last year. Sounds good to me - not every over 30 signing will be like Wilson...

I thought we were going to be signing young players? One of reasons for not signing JCH (sorry to bring him up).
If we were really thinking of signing players in their 30s with no value, what are we really building.
Would be a frustrating to see us sign a defender at the end of their career.

Back to subject, are we going to change our colours to red and call ourselves Bristol City over 30s football club? I’ll suggest Gregg Cunningham to the back line to, maybe even get John Akinde in as he’s only 34.

I know what you're saying but think we need some older heads in there too. With Finley off we lost quite a bit of experience and leadership so good to have other players who can provide this.

Just had a look at his wiki he’s played far too many games in the last two seasons, and scored one or two goals, doesn’t fit our brief UTG

He's more a Tony Craig than a Wilson, no nonsense, will bring the younger defenders on. Would be a good signing IMHO

Useful addition to the city vets team we seem to be building At least we'll know they are happy to train at The Quarters rather than in the North West!

Tbf this is just Gaschat at the moment. No official stuff. As it’s the silly season lots of rumours will be circulating. Once we sign someone we may get an idea of where the emphasis on signings will be. UTG!

Our owners did say in an interview back in February time the squad would look totally different this season with younger players.
