Been out and about working today so trying to catch up on the days events, but is Rovers v Northampton the chosen 5.30 ko?
Not knocking it, but a strange choice if so, or is it the new TV deal agreement? If so, are we likely to get several strange Saturday ko this season?
With the many internationals we now have the chance of Saturday 3pm ko's could be a thing of the past.

1 game will be on sky sports football out of the 12 and the rest will be on the new sky sports+ app. It's going to effect the championship more as I think from 5 games a week will change to anything from a Friday to Monday night.

Old dogs, new tickets and all that. Still sometimes finish work at 1ish on a Saturday so it can be a tough trying to get a parking space near enough to the ground and get a programme as they usually sell out by 2.15.

The biggest winner in football is Sky as usual.
I think attendances may suffer as a result 😔

I am NOT a Sky subscriber, how can I watch my team?
For instant, contract-free access to all Sky Sports channels, non-Sky subscribers can purchase a NOW Sports Day or Month Membership.
From August, this will also include every single live Sky Sports+ stream and on demand catch-up content.
That looks like no scheme where you can just watch your chosen team. No ifollow.

You could never watch weekend games officially in the UK on iFollow? It's still to be seen what service will be offered for "international" viewers this season.

The biggest winner in football is Sky as usual. I think attendances may suffer as a result 😔 surely the biggest winners were the clubs who benefited from the extra income and could sign players who were previously unattainable and the fans who can now watch world class footballers playing in the English League. Rovers have also received grants and indeed the new stand was partly financed by money which would not exist if it was not sky money. i accept that we are having to sacrifice certain traditions but you cant have your cake etc.

Little heads up to those who already have sky but not sky sports and are interested in getting sports for the new season but are worried about the extortionate normal price of £30 or around that a month.
If you have a sky puck or sky glass with the default ultimate TV package with no big offers on it already. Most sky accounts have a weird limited time offer at the moment which allow you to get sports added for £10 month or even less sometimes.. when applying sports it’s giving it the option to apply an offer onto the ultimate TV package which balances it out as just an £10 or less up lift…
The catch: *this does mean re contracting the Ultimate Tv and entering a 24 month contract with sky on both sports and UTV for that period*
Shoot me a message if you have any questions

They pay so, so much for the rights because the advertising revenue (never mind the subscription fees) is on another planet. Plus, as a result we now have to dance to their tune, they don’t help us in my opinion, they hinder us, the fans of football clubs are the real supporters of their clubs because we are there through good and bad, we pay our money into our clubs through bad weather, traffic jams and defeats. Anyway, just my opinion 👍🏾

A quick scan through the fixture list and there are 11 matches that are not 3PM Saturday, so available on Sky+. 3 matches on International weekends so can be shown then or on re-arranged dates. Sky have mentioned all teams will be live at least 20 times, so a minimum of 6 matches will be moved. I wonder how much notice fans will get of the revised dates?
