I guess it gives the usual suspects something to moan about. Nothing to moan about but don’t want to see the likes of Connolly pushed out over Wilson. Sort yourself out shag! Don’t go off assumptions 😉 Why both were fairly useless last season so if somebody will take one of them then it makes sense to get him off the wage bill. Time will tell what will happen with Wilson, it could be we have to buy up his contract in January to get him off the wage bill, likewise with Hunt unless they both show a drastic improvement in fitness. As far as Brown nothing I've seen of his in the quarters makes me think he can add anything this season. Personally I'd sooner keep McCormack as at least he always seems to give 100%.

Confirmed! Welcome Michael, think this could be a Taylor level loan!

Sounds a solid addition. These loans will always have a slight gamble to them but can also end up being some of the most important signings!

For what its worth - I can see Connolly being sold, nominal fee to a L2 side. Ellison season long loan - Hoole, to L2 side with nominal compensation payment - Wilson bench warmer. Three new permanent players with a 'marquee' signing coming in including a goalkeeper and maybe a couple more loans & I'm tending toward wanting to keep McCormick.

I think Ellison signed as he thought there was a pathway to the first team. So I would be surprised if he was loaned straight out. I think all the new players will start equal, so a lot will depend on how they do during pre season.

Would be a bit of a kick if he was loaned straight out when Taylor convinced him to sign for us not champ teams to compete for first team. If he’s not broken in by January then it would make sense.
