Because we only had 1 or 2 fit CB at the time, and Taylor clearly doesn't rate if he hardly played when being recalled. He only signed because he was another Wasserman client |

In defence of Connelly I thought he looked much better when he came back from Morecambe and showed he does have the ability to be a league one centre half. He's still young and I'm sure he will go on to be a very competent lower league defender.

[br Ok Topper - I’ve also pointed out in that message that “ I hope I am wrong and that he is able to start enjoying his time at the Gas” I also don’t think Southgate isn’t the man for England but that doesn’t mean I don’t want him to do well…. Of course I want Rovers to do well but Taylor’s clean slate begins at game of of the season, we can’t deny the fact that based on his form last season we’d have gone down. Big improvements needed, I like the look of the new signings and sincerely hope that We can ALL enjoy next season together as that’s what it is all about. My view of Connolly is my view, that’s why we love the sport as there are differences in opinions and views, it doesn’t mean I am right and maybe I’ll have pie in my face for it… who knows. |

Not totally against us recouping some money if he’s not part of the plans but for rovers fans anyone that isn’t superb is dismissed as useless! |
