I've always felt a captain should be a Midfielder someone experienced who can cast an authouritive competent eye on what's going on It surely also helps if the Captain is on the pitch more than on the bench, I could understand the logic if Sinclair was announced as Club Captain and AN Other as Team Captain. If this does mean that Sinclair is likely to be starting more game this season then where does that leave LT, as I can't see them starting many game together. I wrote this before reading Sincs was made captain. My opinion still stands that in my opinion the midfield position is best for the captain role. |
