Saw in the clip of Martin’s goal that “no. 2” congratulated him and definitely wasn’t Connolly…was it that Sughayer chap again or was it young White as no.2 wasn’t listed in the relative starting XIs or amongst the subs? Number 2 was Rueben Moggeridge, under 18 player. Sughayer seems to have disappeared as mysteriously as he appeared! [/quote] He was there, just not a part of either of the squads for each half. Presumably was there as a precautionary sub along with some of the other youngsters, including the no.2, in case of injury etc. |

Taylor, in the second half at least, was sat at the back of the stand behind the dugouts. Presumably getting a different vantage point, especially as the teams for each half were obviously pre planned to play the full 45 each. He did go down during the second half to prompt the sub where no. 41 came off for no. 2, but then returned to the stand. NOt sure why Brown was having his own 1:1 training away from everyone else. it seems like he has a specific fitness issue He looked pretty fit to me ( in a cardio-vascular sense ). Running from one goal line to the other. And back. And back again. He obviously can do it... |
