Only good thing is we’re missing Taylor, Forbes who will be ahead of Wilson and Ellison and I’d imagine Mola will start as well left of the 3

Ward for No.1 please! Ellison a long way from a league 1 defender on this showing. I said the same thing after Melksham and Bath. He's just too slow. I don't want to judge him after a few friendly's but I can see why he was mentioned right away for a loan to a conference side. |

Not sure how that wasnt a goal, but good build up from Moore, Shaw, Bilongo but Omochere somehow doesnt convert. Good save I guess

2-0 down. More poor defending from cross. A bit worrying? It’s a mix of youngsters and first teamers, so not to worried, but agree defense could be better. Good going forward. |

It's unbelievable how much some people read into a preseason fitness session... It's equally unbelievable somebody thinks losing 2-0 to a non league isn't an issue. |

1st half review
Defensively frail, especially from set pieces. But this isnt our first choice back 3. Moore looked decent and help to build the play forward.
Lots of energy and running in midfield and good use of the wingbacks, especially on the left.
Decent chances but lacked killer instinct. Bit too familiar but early days for a new side.
Biggest positives for me, Bilongo and Shaw. Playing very well together. Shaw deserves to be in the match day 17 thinking not being sent out on loan i think.
Omochere looked ok. Missed a chance and didnt hold the ball up as well as I would have hoped.
new 11 for 2nd half i expect?

Not been great, but it's in a hot country on an awful looking pitch. Pre season is about minutes, learning shape and phases of play etc. Plus this is unlikely to be our starting line up, at the start of the season.

Worry is … When will we have our first choice back three … one of the key elements won’t have had a preseason. Agree with Bilongo and Shaw especially . |

Thought we looked the better side during the drinks break but they were less dozy than us when the ball was in play.
It’s like watching a stag party strolling on the beach with a couple of footballs
