Do we need another midfielder? Seems a strange signing unless a few are leaving I think if we’re gonna play with the high intensity, high press as we’ve seen in pre-season, fit and fresh men in the middle of the park will be key to that, so no issues with another CM coming in. |

Im a blackburn fan too, seen him play plenty. I think we'll mostly use him in an advanced role.
He started off as a DM, high energy and loves a big tackle (rash at times when breaking through). Last season though he showed how good he is technically, seemed pretty clinical, i think scored in 3 cup games in a row, good left foot on him.
Dont think he'll be a class above, but could be solid

I guess that both he and Blackburn expect him to be a regular starter, otherwise there's no benefit for either of them. A January recall option means he goes elsewhere if he's either not played enough, or been so good he goes into their team.
Plenty of appearances last year suggests there is talent.

Looks like a promising signing but i’m hoping he has to earn his place
I’d be watered off if i was Conteh or McCormick and this lad automatically starts. Let’s hope it doesnt unsettle the squad and team spirit.

We’ve got some decent options in the midfield now with Garrett, Ward, Lindsay, Conteh, Shaw, McCormick and Hutchinson.
Won’t be able to keep them all happy but it’s nice selection headache to have.

A few of those can play in the front three if needed. Ward will probably get injured after a few games. It's good to have a lot of options! |
