I've lived in the Rhondda for nearly 40 years and it's pretty much accepted that everyone hates the Sh!t, and likes/tolerates us. I'm friends with a few ex Tonyrefail Tailban / Soul Crew who wouldn't have thought it "right" to fight the Gas all the way back to the 80's. In answer to your question, cuddle (cwtch) a Bluebird. I used to have a Dentist in Tonyrefail, in the mid 70’s, he used to hate the English…..or maybe just me 😫 I also frequented a nightclub there around the same time (Meadowvale Club?). Went with some Cardiff fans to watch Rovers at Ninian Park a few times in the 70’s never a problem, watching England play there was a different kettle of fish altogether though. Small world, I had a very brief engagement to a barmaid from the Meadowvale I met on holiday in Spain. I ended up marrying a different Valley girl from the same trip !

What’s the score with Cardiff and us these days ? They hate the sh1t and I’ve seen various posts from some of their fans that seem to have been quite complementary towards us in recent times. Basically, are we fighting them or hugging them tomorrow ? I've lived in the Rhondda for nearly 40 years and it's pretty much accepted that everyone hates the Sh!t, and likes/tolerates us. I'm friends with a few ex Tonyrefail Tailban / Soul Crew who wouldn't have thought it "right" to fight the Gas all the way back to the 80's. In answer to your question, cuddle (cwtch) a Bluebird. Didn't feel that way back in 1983 or in previous meetings at Eastville with lumps of concrete being thrown from the Muller Road end into the North Enclosure, nor running the gauntlet from Ninian Park back to Central Station.
I suspect Cardiff fans are only 'generous' towards us because we've not been competitive against them for too long.

For those that were/are planning to go into town after the game tomorrow. I’d give the castle park area a bit of distance. Think there’s a lot of football lads, both from the Cardiff & Rovers game and City and Willlen II game who plan on attending the enough is enough rally in the aftermath of the Southport stabbings. There’s a counter demo already planned so expect it could all escalate pretty quickly. Football lads......hmmm.

We mean nothing to them. If we had been competitive over the last 20 years they’d hate us like they do City. We’re “the other team” in Bristol so naturally they’d like us more than they do City That’s bollocks, you’re not living with them. Think again, I’m actually married to a Cardiff fan she loves me 🤷♂️. UTG! That’s not what she told me Marshy.

I lived in South Wales for 27 years, and believe me, they don’t like us either, especially since Cheltenham.
Agreed, they hate the sh** more, but only because they’ve played them more.

Just remember that today is about a game of football. It's not about who hates who. There is enough civil unrest in this country at the moment. Take a look at the news to see that living with your neighbour in a peaceful way is being ignored by many people.

Section 60 Order in place from 12 noon, up the Gloucester Road as far as Horfield. Also in the city centre, and along Bedminster to AG.

Loads of marches/protests going on today at least three in the center i expect police will be stretched to breaking point. All timed "coincidentally" to allow the cranially challenged element of support from us, Cardiff, City and Willem 2 to attend and demonstrate peacefully. My arse.

Only the Thatchers terrace open today, why’s that? We've only sold 580 tickets so far. So only the thatchers needed.

Take a look at the news to see that living with your neighbour in a peaceful way is being ignored by many people. You're right. I don't imagine there will be any significant incident at the Mem. The city centre may be a different matter - let's hope not.
