Great interview I agree he talks alot of sense!
Just need a left wing back, and one more option upfront and we're ready to go.

A good interview on the face of it. Soon the talking will be over and results will tell us more.
Let’s do this!

Like MT. See Ryan Lowe has left PNE already.Muff have missed him and been left with a certain Mr Rooney. That is baffling to me. I know he had a poor campaign last season and most PNE fans dislike him off the back of that, but for their board to get rid of him after one game reeks of them not knowing what they're doing. Surely you either get rid of him back in May, or see this out for 10 games. They've effectively let Lowe sign all the players he wants, take pre-season, get them ready, and then after the first 90 minutes decided they've made a mistake?

I agree and because it seems so bizarre I think it probably is a ‘mutually agree’ parting in this case. We hear the expression often and we know it’s code for ‘you’re sacked.’ But here I think it probably is mutually agreed. That the club have kept his assistant shows that it’s not been planned. RL knows his stock is relatively high after three consistent seasons with them and it sounds as if he knows they’ve got to speculate and invest to make the extra step up. The board have been very careful not to overspend and Lowe knows he can do no more until they do. So he leaves. Makes perfect sense in a way although the timing is strange. Probably been brewing up over the summer. He'll wait around until there is a vacancy in the Championship in the months ahead. And I don’t think it’ll be Plymouth. He’s been there, he’ll wait until there is a job in the NW stretching across into Yorkshire. Plenty to choose from there and a vacancy will arise. UTG!

If he had stayed and got them into a relegation position, he would have got a payout for being sacked. Fair play to him for saying he can't take the club forward and walking away.

Fair play to him for saying he can't take the club forward and walking away. Pretty poor timing when he's probably already spent most of this summer's budget.

Or had a discreet offer from a bigger club! He won’t have any problem, he’ll pop up somewhere bigger in a few days.
