This is Fun!  Bristol Rovers 4-1 Northampton Town (w) Rotherham United 0-1 Bristol Rovers (w) Stockport County 2-2 Bristol Rovers (d) Bristol Rovers 2-1 Cambridge United (w) Barnsley 0-1 Bristol Rovers (w) This. Although we should beat Stockport surely ? My last match was at Stockport as a linesman.Did the title decider the week before when Howard Wilkinson's Leeds won 3.2 at Sheff Utd to win the first division.Thought great way to finish but got a call to say a lino at Edgeley Park had dropped out and to make haste (Lived at Stafford then). They played Birmingham and both teams needed one point to go up so it was a soporific draw.Could no longer claim to have retired on the first Division title decider!!!!!! |

Rotherham will be too good for us. Stockport have a large injury list so a good time to play them. 7 pts on the board by the time we play Barnsley and a battling draw  |
