Griffiths 6 - Gifted them a chance early on and we were lucky not to concede but apart from that had a tidy game and didn’t have much to do
Moore 7 - Cleared up well at the back and made An outstanding tackle near the end to prevent a possible goal
Wilson 7 - Looked composed in defence
Mola 7 - Defended well and made some good contributions
Thomas 8 - Troubled the Northampton defence and got a well earned assist for Bilongo‘s goal
Bilongo 9 - Passed well and had a good all round game. Also topped it off with match winner! MOTM
Hutchinson 5 - Struggled to get in the game
Conteh 6 - Had a tidy game
Sinclair 7 - Made some good runs and troubled the Northampton defence
Ward 6 - Worked hard but just didn’t look his normal self
Omochere 6 - Worked hard and had a tidy game
Hall
Senior 7 - Made a good run as soon as he came on and helped get us some momentum
Forbes 6 - Didn’t notice him much but had a tidy game whilst on the pitch

McCormick 6 - Battled hard and played well

Northampton 6 - We made them look better than they were in the first half and their only tactic was just to hoof it up and hope. I think they’ll finish in the bottom six this season.

Griffiths 6.5 pensive at times nice clean sheet on debut.
Moore 9 almost m o m amazing debut.
Wilson 8 steady.
Mola 8.5 great part of the defence.
Thomas 7 saved the best cross til last.
Bilongo 9 m o m was everything, amazing scoring on debut.
Hutchinson 7 indifferent, but encouraging.
Conteh 7 steady...nice to see him take a pop from distance.
Sinclair 6.5 great to see, but not sure leading the line is best for him
Ward 6 tried hard
Omochere 7 encouraging debut with raw talent.
Hall
Senior 7 nice getting forward.
Forbes 7.5 definitely made a difference.
Taylor
McCormick 6.5 offered little.
Lindsay 6.5 able replacement.
Garrett
Ref 5.5 had an indifferent afternoon. I think we rode our luck with majority of his decisions.
Northampton 6
Same old Northampton with gamesmanship and time wasting, but it came back to haunt them as we scored in injury time.
Fair play, they came at us for the first half hour, but 2/3 of the match I thought we controlled or dominated.
Encouraging start, well done MT er al for making it a special start to the season..

Results are in.
From a total of 28 ratings Bilongo was mom on 7.86.
He was followed by Wilson on 7.58 and Moore on 7.32.
Our lowest scores were Hutchinson on 5.52 and Sinclair on 5.60.
The Ref scored 5.02 and Northampton 5.21.
